My name is Nick LoVerde. I'm a husband and father. My wife has continually made sacrifice after sacrifice in order for me to continue to do what I love doing, photography! I am also a dad to three amazing kids who are continually reminding me about what's truly important in life. I have been a professional photographer for 15 years and have been an photography nut for 30+ years. I am currently a freelance photographer for several national media outlets, Getty Images, the Associated Press, and Cal Sport Media. I got my media start working for a small community newspaper in my hometown. I will never forget the feeling of seeing my very first cover photo. I have had photos published in National Magazines like Inside Lacrosse, and Major Newspapers across the country ranging from the NY Times to Herald Palladium. Additionally I work full time here in the Buffalo area as a studio photographer. I have always enjoyed the thrill of chasing down that perfect moment, capturing it and freezing it in time for eternity. To further my joy, I get sense of "awesome" any time one of my customers, family members , clients, or friends views that perfectly captured moment, and smiles with approval. Immediate gratification, is powerful, yet dangerous! Photography is just that, thrilling, gratifying, emotional, painful and an amazing way to earn a living. I will click the shutter as long as the good lord blesses me with the sight and energy to do what it takes to do this job daily. It's awesome!!!!
